Having joined King & Gowdy as an apprentice in 2005, James Wilson was enrolled as a solicitor in 2007. His main areas of practice are Wills & Probate, including giving advice on inheritance tax, and he has also developed an expertise in domestic conveyancing and bank litigation. 
James Wilson enjoys motor bike racing and supporting the Northern Ireland football team. On occasion, he finds time to head back home to help run his family’s beef and poultry farms.



Naomi Buchanan LL.B.

Expertise:
After completing her law degree in Dublin and the legal practice course in Oxford, Naomi Buchanan commenced her training contract in London with City firm Stephenson Harwood. As part of her training she spent six months in the firm’s Hong Kong office working in their Funds and Financial Services Department. She qualified in 2002 and continued to practice in the property department of the London office of Stephenson Harwood, specialising in commercial property, for a further two years.
In 2004 she returned to Northern Ireland and took up an in house position with a large property developer. 
She joined King & Gowdy in February 2009. In addition to commercial property, she specialises in all areas of commercial law. She also carries out private client work which includes residential conveyancing, litigation, employment law, wills and probate and other related matters.  She is qualified to practice in both Northern Ireland and England.
Her out of work interests include all forms of equestrian pursuits. She also enjoys travel and skiing in winter.
